The vehicle manufacturing king comes to Pakistan?

You guys probably heard the uproar about KIA coming into the country. But what's coming next is something that the older generation of Pakistanis may have never even dreamed of.

Ladies and gentlemen, here comes the King - Volkswagen

The only Volkswagen vehicle that we're used to seeing

The sort of Volkswagen vehicles that we might be seeing in the future

And my my, isn't it a coincidence that the KIA came just a few months earlier. 

Pakistani manufacturers will have to seriously "up" their game if they wan't to compete with beasts like this

It's as if the blanket of ignorance has been lifted from the eyes of the Pakistani people. The Suzuki Mehran had been running the same old design since the 1980s! (It's been withdrawn now, phew)

And since we had next to no international manufacturers making cars at prices affordable rates (according to local standards). We literally had no choice but to buy the products that local manufacturers offered us.

We're happy that the Pakistani market has been put on it's toes. Really happy. We're sure that prices will plummet and the competition for quality at low rates is about to start.
